*jump the gun: significa "salir en falso", es decir, salir antes de que la pistola de el inicio de la partida en una carrera. Por extensión, significa hacer algo antes de tiempo. En castellano poner "sal en falso" no tendría sentido por eso he optado por "empieza rápido" que es, supongo, a lo que se refiere.

**a warm gun, se supone que se refiere a una inyección de heroína. Lennon aparentemente no lo dijo pero tampoco lo negó. De ahí se entiende un poco todo el significado de la canción.

Encontré algo sobre esta canción en wikipedia que puede ser interesante ya que habla de las distintas partes de la canción. Es una de mis favoritas del album, así que revísenla por favor. Happiness is a warm gun
